Drop ‘o’ from google logo
Wednesday, September 10th, 2008Google is dropping an ‘o’ from its logo, while you append &num=100&start=990 at the end of the search url. If you search for a any url like http://www.google.co.in/search?q=site:+knolindia.com&hl=en&filter=0 then at the bottom of the search result google gives the link for other pages. For example if you search using the link
http://www.google.co.in/search?q=site:+knolindia.com&hl=en&filter=0
Result is
Again if you search using the link
http://www.google.co.in/search?q=site:+knolindia.com&hl=en&filter=0&num=100&start=990
then the surprize result comes. Result is a google logo where ‘o’ is dropped.
After doing any kind of search, you can append the “num=100″ parameter to the query string to get 100 results instead of the default 10. Another useful parameter is the “start=990″ that takes you to the last page of the results, without having to click through to the end.
