Virgin Mobile (India) announces the launch of its stylish Hi-speed USB modem device – vFlash. It’s a new, hip and portable, plug and play device that offers the convenience, portability and super fast internet services along with the surfing speed of up to 3.1 Mbps and generous storage slot of up to 8GB. It provides faster access and uses third generation EVDO technology, suitable for large file transfers, games and superior experience of audio and video streaming and download. The vFlash comes bundled with various features such as vFlash TV, and On-demand download services.

The vFlash introductory offer is Zero Data Plan Rental for the first 30 days along with Zero rental on vFlash live TV for the first 30 days for all customers till 31st Jan’10 and and on demand services for all customers acquired till 31st March 2010.

Nokia, leader in mobile devices, on Tuesday launched its most advanced multimedia device N96 in India. N96 will be available in the market from September 15 with price tag of Rs 34,999. N96 has memory of 16GB that can be increased to 24GB with an optional microSD card. The N96 can store upto 18,000 songs, up to 20,000 images at 5 mega pixel, upto 60 hours of video or full length movies and has 2.8″ screen with multimedia buttons. N96 has a new feature called “Live Mobile TV”. It uses DVB-H (Digital Video Broadcasting – Handhelds) technology, which gives access to the world of live TV with few clicks. Program guides and reminders tell you what’s showing and help you tune in on time. The N96 web browser includes a mini map, using this u find the section on the page and click to joom the contents of that section.

It has enhanced navigation with integrated A-GPS (Assisted GPS receiver). The compaltible computer can be used with n96, which calculates your current position faster than a standard built-in GPS receiver. When used with nokia MAP, A-GPS can help you get connected promptly, even in cities where tall buildings offten impair satellite signal connections. Enhanced navigation is a separete service from integrated A-GPS.
