RISAT Spy satellite launched by ISRO

ISRO on Monday 20th April successfully launched its first all-weather spy satellite that will help security agencies keep a watch on the movements on the borders, from its spaceport here.

US Armed Force Head Joins Twitter

Admiral Mike Mullen, who is the highest ranking military officer in the U.S. Armed Forces, has just joined Twitter at @thejointstaff – maybe his boss @BarackObama convinced him.
Admiral Mullen is currently touring India & Pakistan with Richard Holbrooke as part of US’ Af-Pak policy.
Yet another boost to the Twitter.

Microsoft fined in Germany

Germany’s main competition agency, the Federal Cartel Office, slapped a fine of 9 million euros ($12 million) on US software company Microsoft for imposing a retail price for its Office Home and Student 2007 software.
